The parts you can't see

 

Anyone can photograph a lace thong well. Fewer people will put a 100% cotton gusset in it, finish the edges with a laser instead of a seam, and cut it so the waistband sits flat instead of digging in by two in the afternoon.

 

Our jewelry runs on 316L surgical stainless steel — the same grade used for surgical instruments and implants — finished in 18K gold. It is hypoallergenic, it does not turn your skin green, and it survives the shower, the gym, and the ocean. You do not have to take it off. That is the whole point.

 

One thing we refuse to do

 

We do not use magnetic clasps. Not on necklaces, not on bracelets, not on anything.

 

Magnetic closures are easy to manufacture and easy to sell. They are also a documented concern for people with pacemakers and implanted defibrillators, and they come apart more often than anyone admits — usually somewhere you will never find the piece again.

 

Every Leporem piece closes with a secure push-lock or lobster claw clasp instead. It costs us more, it takes longer to assemble, and no photograph will ever show the difference. We do it anyway.
